This is the primary way funding works around here and it's just bizarre. If someone has proven he can do something for €50k, you give him _less_ to do it, the next time, as you should expect his labor to become steadily more efficient, so that he can pass some of that savings on to you.
But it goes the other way around, here. They give you €50k. You do a good job and get €500k. Do a good job, again, get €5million... But you're still just one man doing the same sort of thing over and over.
This is a Celebrity Premium, caused by the artificial scarcity resulting from central planning, not the cost of the actual labor. The cost of labor was €50k and now it's €45k.
