More like just expressing distaste for the current state of the online Linux/FOSS community presence and how maintainers act. Sometimes it isn't even about trans stuff specifically, it's just these complete man babies who freak out at the slightest bit of provocation or offense because they are mentally ill and/or thrive off of drama.
But I've never seen that as a reason to stop using FOSS, because the whole point is that it doesn't matter who maintains or uses it as long as it is actually FOSS and works for your needs.
