The combination of light workload and being constantly short of my toolset has made me just wipe Kubuntu and install Debian Testing with KDE.
Now slowly adding software using Ansible following
Ram Prakash (npub16p4…yy7t) ’s footsteps.
This has made things slower to setup, but has the benefit very deliberate and clear decision making. I am chucking out anything that asks me to download a binary and drop it into a random folder.
Surprised how many tools that are essential are packaged and the rest which are “nice to haves” and not packaged.
