Male people don't have a human right to identify as women and waltz into female-only spaces.
They can believe they're women and go by a feminine name, putting on feminine clothes etc., and ask people not to trigger their dysphoria if they're dysphoric. A polite person may oblige, and I think it's good for there to be anti discrimination protections that make it e.g. illegal to fire someone just for being trans. That's already, and still, a thing in UK law. The Equality Act 2010 contains "gender reassignment" as a separate concept from sex, which is unaffected by the Supreme Court decision.
But they don't have a right to force other people to act like they're literally female, especially where single sex provisions are concerned.
Should a 50 year old guy with dick and balls have a state-protected right to use a communal changing or shower rooms where teenage girls are changing or showering? Should they have a right to be transferred to a women's prison after being convicted of rape? (This happened multiple times already, in some cases leading to rape of a female inmate who was forced to share a cell with such a man. News stories and active court cases easily found with any search engine.)
JKR is only "anti-trans" insofar "trans rights" are defined as overriding women's rights.
