I remembered wrong. But there definitely seems like a memory effect (probably why I was thinking NiCAD) or at least their overall lifetime seems to be extended by full cycles if not individual charge lengths. I agree giving it a few charge/discharge cycles sounds like good advice. If you do have to replace you might be able to up your mAh by a few hundred as an upside 😀",
