There are many "design for manufacturing" books, courses, and tutorials out there but most of them are useless for small workshops or worse, they throw unprepared people into the deep end with manufacturing partners and risky capital investment in tools and employees.
There are also many influencers touting shady "home business" products but I've found few folks talking nuts and bolts for people manufacturing very short runs of complex goods.
