When I was a baby they taught me how to swim. This was the early 1970s. We had a pool. I fell into the pool when I was a baby and started to drown. My mom I think went into the kitchen I guess. Either way I fell in and then both of those dogs jumped in. I don't know which one it was but one of them swam under me and kept me afloat on their back and my head above water and the other barked up a storm until my mom came and rescued me. My mom then decided I needed to immediately learn how to swim so if I fell in again I wouldn't drown and apparently when they were teaching me in the pool the dogs literally took over keeping me from drowning and teaching me how to swim. At least dog paddle. I learned how to swim before I could walk. True story.
