Embracing #LiberalValues means understanding that your side isn't good. Beyond just always being at least somewhat misinformed, every position you support will have unintended negative consequences. Recognizing this, you must listen to the people you disagree with and weigh their concerns against yours. Your goal might be righteous and achievable, but there was just so much you didn't consider because of your limited experience. And still, taking no action might be accepting a worse outcome.
