Major developments out of Tripoli tonight, as reports indicate that Abdel Ghani al-Kikli, known as “Gheniwa” and head of the Stability Support Authority (SSA), has been assassinated during a meeting at the 444th Combat Brigade’s base. Heavy fighting has since erupted across the Libyan capital between government and paramilitary forces. Authorities are urging residents to stay indoors as military and security units work to restore order.
