If we just use price rises to push people then that’s unlikely to reduce CO2 emissions very much just stress people’s pockets. What about price incentives for low CO2 emission holidays? Lower prices for hotels with a vegetarian menu or no pool? Maybe cheap holiday express buses and trains? A grant for everyone who takes a holiday within land-travel distance of their home?
