So. The new guy on my shift did a no-show. This worries me because I need his help, and some strange circumstances.

Apparently yesterday, he had a long meeting with the boss. He’s too new to be getting bitched at for performance numbers, he’s only been here a few weeks and he’s still settling in. He’s been useful enough for now and I’m fine with his progress.

So… what was this meeting about? Then the very next day after this meeting, he just doesn’t show up to work. Didn’t call in sick or anything, just… didn’t come.

Very alarming. He didn’t seem like the irresponsible type to me. So I’m worried my bosses started bitching at him before he’s even had a chance to get used to the job and he got frustrated and quit.

Hopefully this is not the case. If he doesn’t show up tomorrow my worries will advance into grave concerns.
