I think its pretty self-evident that eventually the state will buy it... Once its fiat is apparently broken and nobody wants it. I see that as rather far off though. I have little concern if they buy it, they have as much right to own bitcoin as anybody. They don't get anything more or less than anyone else who owns bitcoin. And, at least in the US gov case, they already own bitcoin.
