I pay for Goland and now I am running linux-hardened kernel on Arch linux, something is causing it to be unable to open projects.
Since they started with this retarded New UI bullcrap, I've been increasingly finding it irritating, and this fad of forcing people to constantly update, and denying access to old versions thing is really getting on my nerves.
I would probably not even be able to use my computer properly if I was unable to stop it from constantly "upgrading" my kernel. A problem that Ubuntu has never dealt with, let alone the Gnome project and their "tracker" search engine, which has cost me so much time and tranquility as it crawls my extensive collection of Go source code.
I remember the days when software was actually kinda stable. Oh well, like everything, the level of vigilance and cognitive load keeps on rising, and rather than reach for more vices I'm trimming those out as well.
The way this society is running it's gonna be imploding within a decade.
