Hello Fedi friends!
Yesterday was hot and rather hectic but today should be more mild. Zara was insisting that I wake up early so I could pet her.
At 2, I think she is as large as she will get, more or less. This morning she climbed into my lap and put her head on my shoulder and purred. It's an odd style to lay in, but she loves it.
Today she fully committed to the bit. I had sat down and started reading as my mind sorted through the day. She jumped straight into my lap and began to settle down laying up my chest. She knows I will slouch to give her a better angle, so she firmly bumped my phone out of my hands...
"Who says cats can't talk?" I say, laughing slightly as I begin to pet her. She makes that little half meow she does when I talk this way.
My mind drifting lazily with the rhythm of her soft purr, feeling the warm and fuzzy body beneath my hands and warming my chest.
