When I heard of the concept of the 3-5 closest people having the most impact on me (I think that's how it goes) I decided to be intentional about who I shared most of my time with.
I thought of things I wanted to learn and grow in, and went to seek out some people who inhabited those things.
So, if I see people acting extremely immature and toxic, I'm not really interested in interacting with them anymore. We can all have a moment, but how we handle it afterwards says a lot about where we're aiming to go.
