It's really weird hearing people claim Musk is defending H1B1 visas because he wants slaves.
I work in tech with people on Visas and they are generally the smartest and most hard working people.
I know they are vulnerable to abuse because their status in the country is tied to their employment, but that's a far cry from slavery.
There is still real slavery today, and I don't think the US tech industry is where to find them.
