Just rewatched Listen and, oh my, what a self-indulgent 45 minutes of twaddle! Disconnected scenes in search of a plot linked by a flimsy 'what if we never see the monster' gimmick which has little impact. Oh, and a good 15 minutes dedicated to Danny and Clara's date! It still amazes me that Chibnall's writing can be considered the nadir of #DoctorWho when Moffat was delivering stuff like this! (And I like LOADS of his writing - but in Series 8, he seriously lost his way).
