Gm nostriches, happy freakin’ Friday. Final day for the kids in their fiat mine, looking forward to getting them back for a couple of weeks, so they can breath a little bit freer.

Final day in my fiat mine, with meetings with kids who had their grade “moved up” by management, let’s just destroy the signal that connects work done with result earned. Fack. Student received better grades than they earned, but still unhappy with their grades. Deep breath. If I don’t tell you the truth that you simply didn’t put in enough effort or show required skills, when you get into a serious job, someone will, and it will be a hell of a lot more unpleasant.

Use this grade from me as a motivator, you still have time to improve. What you submitted wasn’t good enough to earn the grade you think you deserved. Don’t come to me looking for a solution, look within, let this light a fire, and fucking put the work in before the end of your degree. You don’t deserve your degree, you earn it, you little shit (may not say these exact words)
