Many years ago, a lady I was dating emailed me and said, "you know, you can be really rude at times."
I didn't blow it off. I actually thought carefully about what she said for several weeks, and emailed her back and said, "yeah, youre right, and here's how and when."

I have tried to find that actual email and failed, over 20 years later.
She and I are still friends.
