Oh I'm not doubting it. In terms of nutrition, doctors have a very specific view that's conservative, and mostly based on a much older way of thinking about it. But it's not really the nutritional aspect I'm thinking about, but the cardiovascular side. As heart disease runs in my family, I'm very aware of it, and I try to stay away from things that have an evidence-based potential to contribute to cardiovascular disease. And as I said, salt is one of the things the cardiologists almost universally recommend reducing. But I understand that the way it's processed by the body may be different in keto, thereby reducing or eliminating that potential concern. In your own experience, have you monitored your blood pressure? Or is that something you just never bothered with? I maintain a steady 125/70, which is pretty much perfect, and for obvious reasons, I really want to keep it that way.
