Do men just not prepare themselves for the possibility that a girl they are interested in will say no?! They always seem so shocked and angry. It genuinely makes me happy when a guy asks me out and I say no and he politely accepts it. I need the concrete reminder that they aren't all violent and angry and unpredictable. Maybe "it genuinely makes me happy" is actually just relief because I expect the worst most of the time.
