But honestly I got most of the ugly stuff out of my system in 2016. The day after election night 2016, I sat on the couch and cried. I raged and argued on Facebook. I felt like I was at a funeral. Now, in 2024, I feel kind of like I'm at a funeral for someone I didn't know well, or a memorial service after the fact. Yeah, it was still sad, and I'm respectful of the fact that some are in mourning and may never stop mourning, but as for me, I was wondering when it would be socially exceptable
