Selflessness is shit. It implies self sacrifice, which is counterproductive for everyone. I'm not sure if you're saying that's distinct from consideration for others, but I am. I consider others, or at least respect them, because I am properly selfish in the literal senses that I am myself, and I do things that are good for myself. Respecting others is required for that. Considering others is often helpful for that, especially if it is in your nature to be compassionate and empathetic, which I happen to be. I do it all because I want to. Selfish. Get self sacrifice out of your head.
