I spent some Bitcoin on a MADEX (nprofile…m3k3) (😘👌), nearly 2.5 years on, maybe I would have been in a more comfortable financial position if I had stacked those sats, the value of this piece may not have kept pace, BUT THIS IS NOT THE POINT (but is absolutely has).
Unless we spend our sats, in times when prices are low particularly, artists and creators will have no income and we will lose them, meaning in the good times, we will have less things of value to spend our sats on, we won’t have peer to peer trades to make.
Sats spent are not about an investment. Sats spent are not even only about treating yourself. Sats spent also about building the community and network of people we want to be around in the future. Those who spend their sats when prices are low are the real bear market hero’s. I’m not one of them (I didn’t spend enough so also bought BenJustman (nprofile…609v) wine with fiat 🤮, they do have fiat bills), but I hope I played my part. The worry is those spending sats in the bull run will promote high time preference behaviours of the creators, saying that, I have faith in the guys I’ve been supporting.
