They were supposed to make their own protocol, AT protocol, but the reality is it’s still very much beta, with no ecosystem of apps, and starting from scratch. Plus there’s been issues with Bluesky staff apparently being toxic among other issues.
Either way I don’t see myself defederating until there is a real issue not a hypothetical one.
