decided to get into linux again. Wanted a simple nice OS to play around with, and ElementaryOS had always intrigued me as a good distro to recommend anyone else, so i installed it on a VM. seemed cool.
two weeks later, i started the VM and the screen straight up goes black after i login.
looked it up, apparently it's a common issue too.
not great!
