The physics seems dodgy. Venus' mass is around 5x10^24 kg and intuitively you'd need a lot more total mass than Venus for this trick, but the total mass of all the asteroids is just 0.05% of that of Venus, about 2.5x10^21 kg
Indeed, I don't see that "gravity assist" works at all when the thing being moved is far greater than the body you are slingshotting off!
