The job market is so rigged. I spent yesterday evening with a couple of doctors, a cop & a social worker, all of whom are exptected to routinely do their jobs outside normal work hours - a thing everybody agrees is hard, meaning by the logic of hard work = good pay CEOs use for themselves they should be well salaried, but these jobs rank somewhere between middlingly & badly paid (a few specialist doctors notwithstanding), with limited or no compensation for uncomfortable work hours...
