It's actually impressive that Apple flat-out apologized for the very cringey (though well-produced) Crush ad.
I can conjur up a myriad of ways they could have conveyed much the same idea and it would have been a fun and whimsical ad…instead this became the poster child for *everything wrong with the modern internet* (big tech hoovering up all human creativity only to turn around and sell us a poor approximation of it). I doubt that was Apple's intention.
Anyway…lesson learned? ??
