The UICollectionLayoutList stuff worked out pretty well. Probably took an extra 2-3 days of work, but feel like I ended up with less hacks to get specific behavior I wanted. I can see using it for any brand new bits of code that require TVs.
The Configuration based Cells I'm still on the fence about, certainly better than the UIButton configuration stuff but something still feels off about it. It did probably save me from creating a couple cell subclasses though…
