Personally I think that's a valuable skill. I won't be doing the norm of making inaccessible apps and only adding accessibility features if people explain to me that they personally need them. But most people don't really like it when I consider hypothetical disabled people, because it makes them realize how many of their jokes, standards, etc are ableist. They didn't want to entertain the idea that X Y Z could be part of a disability, and therefore cruel to make fun of or discriminate against.
