In the course of this adventure I had two sub-adventures.
First I discovered that there was a K-Mart in walking distance of the Union City BART station, something that I had not previously figured out how to get to easily from my downtown SF student-housing address.
2nd, on the way to the industrial park I passed a Mexican bakery, went inside, and discovered the wonderful world of Mexican pastries, which I had never encountered before. I spent more on pastries than I did on software that day.
