I'm okay with commerce for things you don't need, although I believe in regulation and cracking down on price gouging etc. I don't see any problem with that. I think anyone should be allowed to create an undertaking and not just create it, but get support for their undertaking too. Call it a company if you want, I don't care. Not just private support, but public support too.

And every undertaking should be about innovation, not maximising profit. As long as it's not consuming a shitload of resources (social or physical) for limited to no benefit to anyone, or has the potential to be net beneficial, I think it should be considered successful. I don't have patience for harmful grifter shit and neither should society.
