I also don’t understand why people keep security hardware devices around. Do people actually enjoy the emergency patching? Meanwhile VPNs are slow and introduce chokepoints when you backhaul your traffic. Why not just tunnel everything and only provide least privileged access via reverse proxy and/or SDP? Is the transition really that challenging?
