I hate to say it but #wsl is actually making using Windows possible for me.
For instance:
- my terminal works how I expect it to
- I can handle an NTFS filesystem with a Linux format (/ not \)
- I can install and run all my development stuff without any hassle.
I'd still rather use native Linux, but in cases where Windows is my only option, I think I could actually use it quite comfortably.
Although WSL isn't perfect and I would like to see more distros properly supported by it.
