Encoding is compression :-) .. What is the point of encoding if code doesn't carry more information that expressed otherwise ... for example when I use the word #tree .... you know what I mean ... but if there was no word to define tree .. it would be extremely expansive to express it .. someone will physically go to a tree to show what it means ..
