A friend that I play pickup hockey with recently lost his daughter to the opioid epidemic. Today was his first day back.
I don't know much about her or what happened, other than she was 22 years old.
We've been playing together for >10 years, which would've made her quite a bit younger than my own daughter, when we started.
Puts things in perspective.
Demand better of your governments.
