Wait. #Nostr is P2P? That's news to me... Thought it was just client/server architecture with censorship resistance (not quite immutability) via redundancy by saving notes to multiple servers, instead of just one.

Bitcoin is immutable transactions because ALL nodes need to be taken down, or an incredible amount of PoW needs to be repeated, in order for a single transaction to be reversed.

Nostr, on the other hand, just needs a note to be deleted from a few relays for it to be gone, because not all relays keep all notes. So long as you know which relays your note is saved to, and those relays respect deletion requests, you can delete your note. And any single relay that doesn't want to keep your note doesn't have to.
