On BitcoinInfinity (nprofile…zn5f) #153, a suit named Patrick Lowry bragged about making #bitcoin by being an early investor in Block One, creator of the EOS shitcoin.
I made some sats off this trade too, but I got lucky. It was a total scam. Even this suit called it a shitcoin. This is shameful and I am ashamed of my decison to buy it.
Here is the story as I remember:
They were putting Social Media on the blockchain- The Voice was going to be like twitter on a blockchain. In retrospect, that was a really dumb idea.
#Nostr is 1,000X better than that. It uses public key crytography, but has no "CrYpTo." Nostr is not an investment, It is a comunications protocol that uses the same key structure as bitcoin, but is more efficient because public and private speech does not require an immutable ledger since each post is immutable and distributed over a p2p network.
EOS was bullshit.
