The news is such a gut punch. The Ukraine policy shift is devastating. As someone who has worked in Soviet Moscow, spent time in Ukraine and the Baltics, volunteered with refusniks, as a son of a WWII veteran, immigrants, I find myself crushed that this is happening. I am really struggling to rally to teach today, and I’m quite “safe”. Wishing strength to all genuinely suffering. We have to stop this. Please protest, donate, teach, organize.
