The problem with 3k-5k is that it's prohibitively expensive to some people in some places, at the same time as it's not enough to sustainably offer the cool CI/CD stuff that ChipTuner (npub1qdj…fqm7) and au9913 (npub16ux…lra7) and etc. have planned. That stuff will need computation and performance to be attractive, so we need a much higher price-point, for that, perhaps even further-tiered for consumption and size and etc.
We also had so much interest in sponsoring, that we decided to bring in stingier, low-ball offer for #smolldevs and then send the bigger players the bill with a higher tier.
