When the SNIP [Scotland-NorthernIreland] gas connector was laid they had to work around it and ran into some interesting challenges on the way.
Maybe that is why there isn’t and shouldn’t be too much windfarm or other structures built there, apart from the shipping channels challenges. Then there’s the stuff that came from Windscale-Sellafield and there have been issues with the raised levels of radioactive substances there also. There was even a failed legal action over it. (2/2)
