Updated my website from #php 8.2 to 8.4 this week, and literally the only changes I needed to make were to update a few dependencies. The language is getting more and more stable, and static analysis and php-compat mean I've dealt with the problematic areas of the language in my codebase already, minimizing the effort to upgrade.
This is the (coding and development) future I was looking for 15 years ago.
