Seems we narrowly avoided disaster, the leak detailing the changes from 2024-06-14 (with the cancelled vote on it a week later) https://www.patrick-breyer.de/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/14.06.2024-Council-CSAR-chatcontrol-BE-Presidency-explanation-of-last-changes-ahead-of-vote.pdf#page=3 shows that the Commission added expanded the definition of visual content to visual components of livestreaming.
Being even more complex than image detection & requiring vast amounts of processing power, this just seems absurd to me.
