You know how some jobs make you wear nametags?
The only one I ever wore, and did not take off when I went to my work area...
Was for Blockbuster, and I still have it because it has my name etched into it and I love it.
But more on nametags.. I took em off because customers were creepy and I did not like the weird banter brought on by their seeing my name was available without my consent.
The over-familiarity was a boundary I needed separation from.
