So is this what's going on?
Japan, the last big economy with negative interest rates was going positive on Friday and the markets decided the free-money party was over. Fiat went from being worth negative to being worth something so investors rushed out of any risk- or inflated assets into liquidity aka fiat, not necessarily because fiat was appreciating now but because the speculation frenzy had to stop at some point anyway, so smart money was calling the top and cashed out?
