What kind of CPU does Nintendo's new "Alarmo" alarm clock use?
On one hand, they didn't post GPL sources, so it might not be Android/Linux:

On the other hand, the board teardown shows it has a big chip of what looks like eMMC (https://www.gonintendo.com/contents/41329-nintendo-s-alarmo-hides-a-neat-reference-inside-its-hardware, https://www.threads.net/@nintendeal/post/DA6bL4xSoi7), much bigger than the Game & Watch which used microcontrollers.
So maybe it is using a Linux-class CPU after all?
