Albastı (npub1snh…ywgf) peers with monsters (npub1lka…jeym) bot (npub1hg5…tya9) nostr isn't decentralized, there's no census/quorum method for determining what is the actual state of the system, so every change has to be announced in full. normally you'd use an eventually consistent thing like a CRDT, and then you announce delta changes i.e. "I followed X" and then it merges with your past announcements. nostr has no concept of consistent distributed clocks, so there's no way to reconcile what is current, and the developers don't actually understand distributed systems either so they can't implement this stuff. the solution is then "announce all your follows every time you follow someone" which will basically result in relays just ignoring that shit once the network gets under any kind of load because it's just spam.
