I don’t recommend using Lightning wallets (they’re all hot wallets, custodial or not) for any long-term HODL amounts.
I run a node, so I don’t need to rely on them, but
Wallet of Satoshi (npub1hcw…h9rq) provides a great entry-level service that we are stress-testing with our #zapathons, and I still like it because it’s fast and easy.
You could look into Phoenix, which gives you more control over the Lightning channels and still gives you custody of your sats.
Depending on what you consider an amount worth keeping, I’d suggest moving anything that you don’t plan to spend (or risk) in a hot wallet to an on-chain address where only you hold the private keys.
