It doesn't change my own perception, because I have personally witnessed many folks on the right treat the left the same way. If you choose not to see that, or simply don't perceive it that way, why should I try and convince you otherwise, or vice versa? What difference does it make? It doesn't matter to me if you don't agree. To me it's not worth wasting the energy over lol.
